About the Author
A.R. Moody
A. R. Moody is a dark fantasy author drawn to tragic arcs, slow‑burn tension, and worlds shaped by shadow and consequence. Her work leans into a claustrophobic atmosphere and inevitability, following characters as they unravel quietly beneath the weight of their choices.
She is currently developing a dark fantasy series grounded in folk witchcraft and an unseen realm shaped by older, darker forces. Her work leans into the mythic and the uncanny, exploring what lies just beyond the edge of the living world and what inhabits each of our souls.
About Me
When I’m Away From My Desk
When I’m not writing, I am balancing my life as a mum of 5 girls and home educator. Often times moving between the chaos of my kids and my career in a blink of an eye.
I am also a folk witch, who tends to lean into chaos magic. My craft and paganism play a huge role in my inspiration for writing as I feel so immensely connected to my practice.
Outside of all that, I make art in a range of mediums, Digital and watercolour being my favourites. Additionally, like may writer I read a broad range of genres.
